Hydraulic Swim Platform & Tender

One of the S40’s most useful features is its large hydraulically operated teak swim platform.

Lower it to launch or retrieve the tender, or lower it into the water to create your own private swimming platform.

Daetrip’s owner has taken the system a step further with removable tender chocks positioned so the tender can be launched and retrieved whether the boat is tied port or starboard. Once the tender is launched, the chocks can be removed, leaving the platform unobstructed.

A custom mount also allows the Weber BBQ to be used conveniently from the stern.

Included is a 2023 Highfield 340 Classic with St. Croix steering and Yamaha 25 hp outboard.

Cockpit & Salon

The S40 Coupe does an exceptional job of combining indoor and outdoor living.

Large tinted sliding glass doors open the cockpit to the upper salon, while the enormous electrically operated hardtop sunroof can transform the enclosed deckhouse into an open-air entertaining area in seconds.

Daetrip also benefits from several thoughtful owner improvements.

The standard aft cockpit arrangement has been upgraded with a custom settee and Corian table. The table hydraulically lowers and, with custom cushions, converts the area into a large sunbed.

Inside, a custom matching Corian table and bar top make excellent use of the salon space. The salon table also lowers to create additional sleeping accommodation.

The spacious aft cabin provides unusual versatility: the California king berth can also be configured as two separate single berths, making the boat equally practical for couples, family or guests.

The lower salon provides additional seating and sleeping accommodation, while generous lockers, shelving and under-floor storage make longer trips practical.

Galley & Head

The lower galley includes a ceramic cooktop, 12V refrigerator, double stainless-steel sink with covers, and generous countertop, cabinet and storage space.

The enclosed head features an electric-flush toilet, holding tank, deck pump-out/overboard discharge and full-size shower.

Visibility from the helm has been further improved with an upgraded captain’s chair and custom nine-inch riser, providing a better sightline over the bow while adding useful storage beneath.

Exceptional Maintenance History

The vessel has been hauled every March for scheduled servicing using Volvo OEM parts and oils, with maintenance records documenting considerable investment in keeping the engines, sterndrives and associated systems properly serviced.

2023: Both sterndrives fully serviced; cooling-system hoses, fittings and seals renewed; zincs; bottom paint; generator service; mechanical inspection; all four propellers removed, balanced and refinished; cooling-system components removed, flushed and serviced.

2024: Haul-out; both sterndrives serviced; zincs; bottom and sterndrive paint; generator service; new underwater lights; port engine water pump replaced; mechanical inspection.

2025: Haul-out; both sterndrives fully serviced including bellows; zincs; new Volvo QL trim tabs; generator service; bow-thruster propeller replaced; mechanical inspection.

2026: Haul-out and service at Inlet Marine; both engines and sterndrives fully serviced, new zincs and full mechanical inspection.

2026: Complete cut polish bow to stern, making the boat sparkle
