S2, based in Holland Michigan was a quality manufacturer incorporating specialized production techniques such as utilizing an enclosed, climate-controlled room for laying up hulls and leaving them in the molds until most of the interior was installed to ensure that there was as little deformation of the basic molding as possible.  A good, solid, well made hull from 1980’s will continue to perform for many years to come.
