Born and raised in Vancouver, Peter has been a Producer/Director in the Television and Film industry since 1990. With 30 years of experience in Production, and 20+ years running his own media company, Peter’s spectrum of expertise runs from Directing live national television; Producer on an award-winning feature film, Director of Broadcast for major live events for TEDxVancouver, director of 5 TEDTalks, and corporate events for Lululemon, Nike, and many more; corporate marketing video for FLIR, Fortis and others; and national photographer for the Canadian Tourism Commission. And he continues to embrace new technology with drones and most recently VR360 experience projects with major clients such as Aecon, Helmsman, and his quiet favourite, Calibre Yachts. Peter loves finding the story in every shoot and thrives on a production challenge in the moment. He loves the energy of creative people on a mission. Likewise, that’s where he’s happiest – creating ‘the experiences’ that clients want and audiences celebrate with a long track record of delivering excellent results.
Peter loves being on the water, and his personal passion for sailing started at the age of three on the family boat and continued that passion in Division 1 Winter Series racing at WVYC for eight years, and gunkholing throughout the Gulf Islands and Desolation Sound. He can often be found sailing his Yamaha 30 to year-round anchorages with family and friends. Peter has often said that Calibre is his ideal client that brings great people together on the water to celebrate the joy of boating. Encore!
