NEW PRICE! The original asking price for this boat was $79,800 and it’s been dropped to $54,100. That’s a drop of $25,700. The reason for this is because it needs a new engine, and that’s what the written estimate is for a new 30HP Beta engine to be installed, labour included. So, for $79,800 you can get this Canadian-built steel sailboat with a BRAND NEW engine.

This beautiful, fast, nimble, and tough sailboat will take you wherever you want to go. With a centre-cockpit layout, the design is outstanding and was beautifully crafted by Dehmel shipyard in Ontario, Canada. The sails can be managed from the safety of the cockpit. It has proven to be well suited for winter cruising. Heavy duty construction throughout, built as a unibody, 1″ keel base, 1/2″ keel sides, 1/4″ to water line and 3/16″ to gunnel makes for ultimate sea worthiness and more interior room and storage. Her weight of approx. 12.5 tons is comparable to fibreglass but much stronger. The hull is very efficient with virtually no wake up to 6 knots and she’s exceptionally thrifty on fuel. Sailing or motoring, NORMAN CONQUEROR excels.
In addition to being a first-class boat to sail or cruise, she’s very comfortable to be aboard. She’s insulated and fully lined with fine woodwork throughout. It is an exceptionally dry, warm, and quiet boat. Whether out for the weekend or living aboard she’s a pleasure: a Dickinson “Mediterranean” propane stove/oven, very efficient 12-volt fridge, hot- and cold-water pressure system. The Dickinson diesel space-heater can keep boat warm in sub-zero temperatures. The centre cockpit with its full canvas enclosure is located right above the engine room, which keeps the entire cockpit comfortably warm.
The feeling of solidity, smoothness, responsiveness when sailing, efficiency of design, and comfort are what define this boat.
After 50+ years of sailing, health issues compel the owner to turn her over to another Master. “She’s a unique gem. It breaks my heart to sell, but I wish the boat off for new adventures.”
