This Cutwater 28 Northwest Edition was ordered with over $30,000 of upgrades on top of the generously equipped Northwest package, including an installed chest freezer in the cockpit and stainless steel side ladder to make getting gear on and off the cabin top easy. It is a very versatile cruiser made for adventuring in the Pacific Northwest with all the features you will need for cruising in comfort.
The Cutwater 28 delivers a great balance of performance, comfort, style and value that very few boats can match. Its keel-stepped hull is designed for comfort, performance, handling, and fuel economy.
The cockpit is roomy and has plenty of seating that can also be folded away to allow for more room while fishing. This example has a custom-made storage box as well as a fish cleaning station. The swim grid is ample and has a Livingston tender on factory installed davits for ease of us.
The efficient layout on the interior allows 2 people to sleep in the V berth, another 2 people in the 3/4 berth with another berth in the converted salon dining area if needed. A full galley featuring a multi-burner stove and oven, stainless-steel sink with pull-out rinse faucet, fridge/freezer combo, microwave convection oven and plenty of cabinet space makes meal preparation a breeze. And don’t forget the chest freezer in the cockpit.
The helm is complete with a full Garmin package. Garmin chartplotter, Garmin Autopilot, sonar, xHD radar, color engine displays, Volvo Penta engine display and a solid and comfortable electronic throttle control.
With the Northwest Edition you’ll remain comfortable in any weather with the climate-controlled interior featuring sliding overhead hatches, opening portlights and forced air diesel heating. The cockpit has full wrap around canvas cover as well as side screen panels for warmer days. The C28 has a spacious self-bailing cockpit that’s ideal for fishing or relaxing at anchor. A solid gate offers access to a transom platform with integral boarding ladder for water sports or easy access to the dock. A Livingston tender is located on the swim grid and is ready to launch with factory installed davits.
The C28 cockpit seating plan incorporates a reversible seat at the transom as well as flip-out seating from the Starboard and Port sides. Bogey II also includes a large chest freezer in the port cockpit which is a great option for extended cruising.
Stepping into the salon the fully equipped galley is along the port side, the guest berth, convertible dinette and inside helm are to starboard.
The C28 forward stateroom, with its convertible V-berth, television and private head with shower, offers exceptional privacy and comfort.
