Natural and forced-air engine ventilation systems to maintain optimal engine room airflow and prevent buildup of fumes or heat.
All equipment is up to date and maintained in accordance with safety regulations, reflecting Gala’s readiness for safe and confident operation in all conditions.
Gala is outfitted with robust and reliable anchoring gear designed for secure holding and ease of operation. She carries a 50 kg galvanized Bruce anchor, operated by a Lewmar vertical windlass equipped with both deck foot controls and helm-mounted controls for convenient handling from multiple stations.
The ground tackle includes 350 feet of 3/8-inch chain, providing excellent scope and weight for reliable anchoring in varied conditions. An additional rope rode is also carried onboard, offering flexibility for different anchoring depths and bottom types.
