A fantastic listing – the Catalina 34. This model is the preferred, with a long waterline, moderate to light displacement and a large sail area to ensure good sailing performance. Scrimshander is known as the Mark I, which was in production 1986 to 1994. The factory moved away from the deck stepped masted vessels early on and the Mark I started production as a keel stepped. Self-tailing two-speed primary winches are standard and add to the ease of operation. The keel was recently dropped and new keel boats added. On this boat in particular a nice feature was added to the master cabin. A portlight which seems to create more open natural light for the aft cabin.
