There’s offshore capable, and there’s offshore ready – this one’s ready. For the past 6 years COQUETTE has been prepared for a serious and extensive offshore passage. The owner is a Master Mariner with 34 years of experience as a sailor, boat owner, sail maker, canvas maker, and has professionally taken ships and boats worldwide.
All the work has been completed by reputable marine trades here on the Pacific Coast. The engine has been professionally serviced every year; it runs flawlessly. The standing rigging was refitted in 2018. The topsides were reinforced and serviced in 2018. She has a 9-sail inventory with a 2020 main and genoa. There is a whole suite of new electronics. There is a 62-page document of receipts.
Van de Stadts are well-known serious cruising sailboats that can be found in ports all over the world. This Pimpernel (Agulhas) model was designed specifically for the 1976 Cape of Good Hope to Rio race. Since then, she’s been all over the place, especially in the Pacific Northwest. She’s fast, comfortable, and refreshed.
Due to family matters, the owner is not able to take the boat south as originally planned. Not to be overly opportunistic, but this loss could be your gain! COQUETTE is completely offshore ready – are you? Give me a call.
