Custom-built, MV Golden Touch was completed in 1982. The 13.44 meter (44.09 ft) motor yacht was built to exceptionally high standards. This doesn’t mean that the boat is a “pretty” boat in the delicate sense. She is beautiful in the way she was custom planned and built for it’s intended purpose. Completed by Dereck Verhey, he based his construction on the traditional Carvel Hull model, which is used in exploration vessels worldwide. It is also the gold standard of the west coast commercial fishing fleet. Using ¼” plate steel, Golden Touch is extremely tough. But Golden Touch was designed and built as a personal pleasure vessel, for someone who understood the enjoyment of being behind the helm of a beast. She was built for the Northwest Passage but never got there. This is a true classic west coast trawler design, with the extra advantage of range and strength. Cruising up and down the west coast, your trip is only limited by your imagination. “Where do you want to explore next”. If you’re looking for that special tough comfortable yacht, look no further than GOLDEN TOUCH. It would be my pleasure to get you onboard and show you this rare gem.
