Phantom

Island cruising in style. This is probably the best summation for a 70’ luxurious pilothouse, boasting comfort with many appointments, to please everyone onboard. From stem to stern, this attention to detail further expands from a bright engine room, expansive living areas, to well-appointed staterooms and a large covered aft deck. At 70’, there is lot to offer.

Established in 1991, Queenship Yachts were built in Maple Ridge, building 55’-110’ models on a semi-custom basis, from sport cruisers, super salon cruisers, to pilothouse motor yachts. From quality craftsmanship and design, to personal appointments, Queenship is your maiden for adventure, discovery, and West Coast living. After all, the journey is just as important as the destination.

Definitely a Distance Coastal Cruiser

Between her twin 760 HP Detroit Diesels, Naiad Marine stabilizer fins, and a dedicated pilothouse that has excellent visibility, Phantom has the means and to do your own cruise, on your own schedule, in just about any weather. Even in a full gale with waves breaking over the bow, the active stabilizer fins will keep Phantom on an even keel.

With the navigation software, simply plot your course, transmit the coordinates to the autopilot, and you are officially a ‘hands-off’ skipper. Just keep at least one eye open, and an ear on the VHF.

Welcome Aboard

When you come onboard, the first thing you see is the inviting swim platform and curved staircase, that welcomes you like open hands. By walking towards the bow on the safe and deep deck, an inviting lounging sundeck up forward with room for two, greets you. Bow, stern or upper deck, you decide where to relax. Alfresco dining and entertaining, is all at your whim and pleasure.

Upper Deck

With access either from the aft deck or the main cabin, the upper deck is where gatherings can go into extended hours. With room to enjoy a casual bbq, capturing an evening breeze, or practice your celestial navigation with the ship’s sextant, there can be plenty to do. The Zodiac RIB tender with dedicated winch can easily provide shore leave for provisions, explore the shallows, or to greet another yacht.

Creature Comforts

Phantom has four state rooms with additional private quarters to accommodate 7 in luxury and comfort. Along with 5 heads, a fully equipped U-shape galley, and a salon that defines relaxation and comfort, you may find an excuse not to leave. From a pop-up tv stand, ample seating, to a serving hatch that expands the galley access, you have a very good design suitable for any festive or relaxing occasion. Or to simply to do nothing at all.

Although a large cruiser at 70’, the amount of natural light bellies its size. By having a bright and airy interior, both the salon and pilothouse will undoubtably be pleasing even on rainy or foggy days. Whether at dock or at sea, Phantom will take care of you in comfort and style.

Pilothouse

When you walk into this space, you are not fixated on the dials and gauges. The view from the expansive windshield is simply amazing and not obstructed. The helm itself may be hard to leave due to the finished wooden wheel, logical layout of the instruments, and comfortable Captain’s chair. With additional seating for two, open the side doors to let a nice summer’s West Coast breeze in, you are set to go.

The Utility Room

It is not often that a yacht comes with an extra utility room, and this simply opens many options. Located just before the engine room, this wonderful space houses a workshop with bench, washer and dryer, freezer, among other advantages that keep long voyages simply going. Need more room for a wine cellar or humidor? This place has the capacity to add it.

Dependable Detroit Diesels

These 8V92 DDEC engines are the heart of Phantom, and with under 1400 hrs, they are barely broken in. To boot, you not only have a bright and clean engine room with head room, but an additional tool crib with workshop to carry out any repairs or preventive maintenance. These engine models are very popular, and were used in city buses, motorhomes, and other fine yachts. With such a well-known power plant, many parts and mechanical knowhow are easily at hand.

With a fuel capacity of over 1000 gallons, Phantom can take you to distant landfalls. For example, cruising at 10 knots at 1300 rpm, will give you a distance of about 1200-1500 nautical miles. That’s about twice around Vancouver Island, just in case you missed something. This puts you in reach of San Francisco, California or Ketchikan, Alaska. North or South? You decide.
